As part of our Pro account plan you can utilize the Audio element to easily add music, podcasts or other audio files directly to your website.

Note: if you have a free Weebly account plan and want to upgrade just click Free, in the top right-hand corner of your page, to compare plans or upgrade. You can also contact one of our friendly Support agents and we can help implement that for you as well. 

To add audio to your site:

1. Log into Weebly and navigate to the page (within the site) in which you want to add audio

2. Click the Build tab, at the top of the page

3. Drag the Audio element (in the Media section in the left-hand sidebar) onto your page, where you want it to appear 
   
   

4. Click anywhere within the Audio element to open the Audio options

5. Click the Upload Audio button to upload an audio file

6. Click Track Info and add the Track Title and Artist information in the applicable fields

   Note: the audio player only accepts audio files that are in MP3 format. If your audio is in another format, you have to convert it before uploading. See how to convert an audio file to MP3, using iTunes here.

   The audio file will take a bit to upload, but once it's complete the player will expand to display the title of the audio, and some basic playback controls. You should now be able to play the file with no issues!

7. Choose whether you want your video aligned to the left, center or right, via the icons provided

8. Click Advanced to turn on or off Auto Play (if the audio starts playing when a visitor hits the page) and select either a dark or light theme for the audio player
