If you received a 'Error: SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length' error, like the one shown below, when trying to load SSL on your site, read on!

Private SSL

If you are encountering the error above when attempting to load SSL on your site (a page secured by SSL will begin with https://) let us know by submitting a ticket. That way, we can address this issue promptly and get it fixed as soon as possible.

Because this error usually pertains to a configuration on the server relating to the SSL, our Support team will be glad to evaluate the issue and provide a prompt resolution!

Shared SSL

If you are trying to use the Shared SSL certificate with your domain name, and receive this error, that probably means that you can't use your domain name with the shared SSL. Instead you must use the Shared SSL URLs provided.
