Email Server Settings

Assuming your domain is example.com, you'll need to configure your POP3 or IMAP information as follows:

  • POP3/IMAP server: mail.example.com, port 110 for POP3 and 143 for IMAP

  • Username: [email protected] --> This is the email address you're configuring for.

  • Password: [your email password]

Your configure your SMTP (outgoing) server information as follows:

  • SMTP Server: mail.example.com

  • SMTP server requires authentication / Authentication Type: password

  • SMTP username: [email protected]

  • Password: [your email passsword]

  • Port: 25

If your ISP blocks port 25, you can use port 26 instead.

Note: port 587 is the canonical IETF-specified alternate; however, some ISPs block that port as well so we use a different port number.
