This article is intended for customers who already have a SiteLock account. If you have questions regarding the SiteLock dashboard or website, please check out our Getting Started with SiteLock article. What is the SiteLock Trust Seal? The SiteLock Trust Seal is a badge which you can display on your website to ensure customers feel safe visiting and providing information on your site. If a scan fails site visitors will not be alerted to any problem. The SiteLock Trust Seal will simply continue to display the date of the last good scan of the website. If the site owner fails to rectify the problem SiteLock will remove the seal from the site and replace it with a single pixel transparent image within a few days. At no point will SiteLock display any indication to visitors that a website has failed a scan. Customizing Your SiteLock Trust SealTo customize your SiteLock Trust Seal you must be logged into your SiteLock account, which you can do via cPanel. Log in to cPanel and access SiteLock:
Once logged in you will be directed to your SiteLock dashboard. Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to the SiteLock Trust Seal section. Choose your preferred options from the following list of customizable features:
Installing the SiteLock Trust SealCopy the code you generated after you customized your seal and paste the code into your website's footer, header or other location on your website you'd like it to be viewable. IF you are using the Floating badge... Paste the seal in the footer. The seal will automatically be shown in the bottom right corner of your site at all times. Or you can paste the HTML code into the preferred section of your website. The most common placement for the seal is in the footer. IF you are using Basekit...
